The high-priced prefabricated houses collected by the gallery and the architect behind them

The history of prefabricated houses can be traced back to the 1830s. London carpenter Henry Manning built a prefabricated house and sent it to his son who immigrated to Australia.

However, it wasn't until 100 years later that prefabricated buildings really took off. Jean Prouvé and Carl Koch were two of the most pivotal figures in the history of prefabricated houses.

The Patrick Seguin Gallery, based in France, has the largest collection of Jean Prouvé’s prefabricated houses in the world. Jean Prouvé has become the hallmark and label of this gallery, and there are 13 detailed displays of prefabricated houses on its official website.

At present, Boxabl not only industrializes the prefabricated houses that Carl Koch had not realized, but also innovates in technology and materials.

The Casita house, which is made of steel, concrete and EPS foam, uses structural laminate for its walls, floor and roof, and has discarded gypsum board that may melt or become moldy when exposed to water—this makes Casita houses solider and more durable than common buildings.

Perhaps in the future when prefabricated houses are mature, such new buildings can help more people avoid becoming "mortgage slaves."

Such a design concept itself is a kind of landmark innovation already. Next, it is necessary to study and persist to achieve this design, so that the design can be put into reality and practical results can be achieved.
